An unplayable pipe organ at the St. Michael the Archangel Church in Argao, Cebu. This is the most well-preserved pipe organ in Cebu dating back to the Spanish colonial era and is also the second oldest in the country after the pipe organ of the San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila.

To get to Argao, hail a Ceres Liner going to Bato-Oslob at the Cebu South Bus Terminal. Tell the conductor to drop you at Argao poblacion. One way fare is more or less P66 pesos.

    Hi Marissa thanks for visiting this blog. Argao’s retablo is indeed magnificent. It is made of wood, it looks like it is made of metal because it was painted with gold by a priest!
